A group of children goes to a vacation camp for two weeks. For some of them, it's the first time away from home, but that's what it's all about.
The film tells how it feels to be at this place - about the bunk bed neighbor who introduces you to the art of blasphemy, about a flashlight that doesn't work, about never-arriving letters, and about nicknames you can't get rid of... about time going by.
